A little about Leach Botanical Garden -
Our Garden is the crown jewel of public park spaces in Outer Southeast Portland. Wander more than a mile of trails and paths, discovering the Garden's special places. Find the Stone Cabin and the blue dinosaur. Like a library of plants, the various species in our collection display their qualities during different seasons.The lush green landscape is also home to a variety of fauna. Deer, rabbits, squirrels are not uncommon. Occasional beaver and ermine may be seen. Hummingbirds and hawks, dragonflies and butterflies make their home here. Johnson Creek is home to fish and other aquatic creatures.
Dedicated volunteers make it possible for the Garden to be open to the public six days a week. They provide information at the Manor House and opportunities to browse our gift shop. More than a park, Leach offers a unique experience of the botanical, artistic, historic and natural landscapes. See you soon.
